Cedar Springs is proud to host the 51st annual Red Flannel Marching Competition. This is the longest running band competition in the state of Michigan!
Please join us on Saturday, October 1st, 2011 at the Cedar Springs High School Stadium. The flag raising ceremony begins at 8:00 a.m., performed by the Glen Hill VFW and the Cedar Springs 8th Grade Band. The competition is immediately following.
Tickets for the competition are $6 for Adults and $4 for Students and Seniors. Programs are available for $2 each.
The award ceremony is followed by the annual Red Flannel Parade through downtown Cedar Springs, which begins promptly at 3:00 and includes area marching bands and floats from local businesses and organizations.
