The Cedar Springs Music Boosters is an organization comprised of band and choir parents, alumni, community members, and directors. If you are the parent of a Band student, you are already a Music Booster!
Trunk or Treat 2010
Our job as the Music Boosters is to help the Cedar Springs music program to thrive and flourish. We try to make sure that the band and choir have the money they need for special purchases, such as instrument maintenance, new instruments, uniform cleaning, scholarships, snacks before competitions, new uniforms, piano tuning, etc. We also serve lunch and dinner at Band Camp, hem and repair uniforms, make and hang decorations on student lockers before concerts and competitions, check uniforms before and after football games, donate food, work concessions, chaperone trips, plan dances and fun activities like Trunk or Treat, grill hamburgers… the list is actually endless!
We would like to invite and encourage you to attend our Booster meetings that occur on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Band or Choir room. (During Marching Season, meetings are held on the third Tuesday at 7:00, so that the directors can attend.) At these meetings, we discuss upcoming events, where we feel money should be spent, and listen to updates from the directors.
Band Camp 2011
It’s a great time to meet other parents, sign up to volunteer, and find out what all age levels of the Band are doing in the near future. It’s also a great place to make friends, because we are a terrific group of fun people!
