SCRIP Program Welcome to the SCRIP program! Scrip
is gift cards - just like you would buy at the store.
However, there is one reason for purchasing them from the Music
Boosters and that is to SAVE YOU MONEY!
Retailers sell the cards to us a discount and that discount is
what goes to your student’s account.
So, let’s say you purchase a $25 card.
The retailer sells it to us at a 4% discount.
The total discount is $1.00 - 75% to your student’s account and
25% to the Booster organization to handle shipping and handling charges.
With just a few Scrip purchases during the year, soon your
student will have enough money in their account to cover next year’s
band camp fees, trip or whatever expenses come up.
All you have done is spend money on Scrip certificates for
purchases you would have made anyway.
It doesn’t get much easier than that! Click
on the Scrip links to the left for retailer information and the latest
news from GL Scrip. Orders are due on Monday and will be placed on Tuesday. Until school starts, you can pick up your Scrip order the following Monday at practice or it can be sent home with your student. If you would like more information, contact Scrip Coordinator Patricia Eary.
