JUST A REMINDER FOR THE DISNEY MEETING: Please make sure you bring your SHOW SHIRT and BLACK SOCKS that evening. You will be packing them in your garment bags so they are all set for the trip.
WHEN: January 16th
WHERE: High School Band Room
TIME: Meeting starts promptly at 7pm. Please arrive 15 mins. early so you have time to put your show shirt and socks in your bag.
*Also for anyone who would like to attend there is a Music Booster meeting Thursday, January 18th @ 7pm in the High School choir room.
Dear Cedar Springs Band Families,
I am writing to let you know that I have accepted a different band director position at Lakeview High School in Battle Creek. I will be starting there right after Christmas break. Although I had planned on retiring from Cedar at the end of my career, this opportunity came up and will allow me to support my family more effectively. This has nothing to do with the wonderful students, staff, or administrators here in Cedar Springs. I have enjoyed teaching the students and seeing how much they’ve grown in the short time that I’ve been here. I hope that they will continue to see the value and joy of music and be a part of this wonderful music program. This Friday, December 22nd will be my last day. You may continue to refer questions to firstname.lastname@example.org but email@example.com will be deactivated as of Friday.
Mr. Fallis will continue as my replacement for the remainder of the year.
Thank you for the opportunity to teach your children and I’m sure I’ll run into them at marching band competitions and band festivals.
